LMSR Rotary continues connection to Tubman Charter SchoolClub members coordinated a booth at the well-attended Tubman "Back to School BBQ" on August 26. Food Corps members from the school district were also there to help engage students and families in planting sunflower seeds, learning about the Tubman Towers (aeroponic towers purchased by the schools), choosing cookbooks and activity books from the CalFresh Healthy Living program, and "Touching and Sniffing"sensory plants from the garden. Several parents signed up to learn how they can help with the garden in the new school year which began August 29!
