Club member Lisa Youngflesh (center) received the Governor’s Recognition Award from District Governor Jeb Bakke when he attended our club meeting on August 21st.  The award reflects someone who is an outstanding member and who has been pivotal in the club's success. It could be through quiet actions or leadership positions. This is an unsung hero who helps keep the club going; someone who inspires others.

Since joining the club in 2016, Lisa has served as our club secretary, coordinated service projects, hosted our holiday party, and opened her workplace to the club whenever we needed a meeting location. She is also the person who brings food when it is needed and, more importantly, seems always ready to do whatever is necessary to help.

Lisa's actions help our club be successful and have the greatest impact possible in the community.  Her leadership is not about seeking recognition; it is about seeing a need and stepping forward to meet it. Thank you, Lisa, for your dedication, generosity, and countless contributions to our club. We are better because of you!
