Officers of the San Diego State University Rotaract Club attended our Club meeting on Oct. 4, 2024 to share information on their club's core values, recruitment and application process, and service projects.

SDSU Rotaract Club President Evelyn Arredondo was joined by Director of Public Relations Allison Clunis, Co-Director of Social Activities Samantha Frazer, and Director of Judicial Affairs Kaitlyn Kirk. Evelyn's presentation showed the many ways the club's members contribute to the community, such as actively supporting Aztecs Rock Hunger, a service project in Ensenada, Mexico, and the End Polio Walk scheduled for Oct. 26 in Balboa Park. Register and donate for the walk here.

In its 30th year, the club is so popular on campus that only about half of applicants are accepted each year through the application process. The Rotaractors ended the presentation with an enthusiastic invitation to attend one of their meetings, join a new mentorship network, and include them in our club's projects. Future collaborations will be a win-win for both clubs!
