Niels Lund, Executive Director will describe the methods of providing sanitary facilities in developing countries. He has provided latrines for a number of villages in Cambodia. He works with local Rotaries to execute Rotary Grants that are geared to improving the quality of health and life in rural area.

Eric Lovette, Executive Director, will describe the population and services his Charity addresses. Founded in 2012 to address youth homelessness in San Diego, the organization currently operates with three primary areas of focus: to provide transitional employment & supportive housing opportunities to San Diego's transition age homeless youth. The offer a hand up to youth in need with the goal of changing young lives for the better.

The La Mesa Sunrise Rotary Club invites you to enjoy a scrumptious afternoon tea on Saturday, September 9th from 1 to 4 p.m. at Noah Homes. Outstanding members of our community will share how they are working to improve the lives of others. Our honorees this year are: Dr. Asa Morton, who leads teams of eye care specialists to Guatemala through Helps International Jane & Ron Tomczak, founders of Challenge Ranch Jeffrey Sitcov, founder of Doors of Change Dr. Elizabeth Jones, founder of Foundation for the Children of the Californias The cost is $50 per person. Support their causes by also participating in opportunity drawings, silent auctions, and a photo booth. Tea attire with hats is suggested. |
